Non-ferrous metal wire

BCmesh can produce any wire from the metal selected by the customer and according to his specifications. We have over 30 years' experience in the manufacture of wire and wire products.

Non-ferrous metal wires are rods or metal rods that have been subjected to a process of drawing, annealing etc. The processes of drawing - annealing - re-drawing - re-torquing enable the production of wires (wire products) of various parameters and models.

Thin rods are used as the basis for metalware, components of steel structures and independent products. That is why durable non-ferrous metals such as zinc, aluminium, nickel, bronze, brass, copper etc. are used for production. In manufacture they may use one or several nonferrous metals.

Features of non-ferrous wire

- cross-section from 0,03 mm;

- fineness and ductility;

- resistance to corrosion;

- aesthetic appearance preservation in aggressive environment (after moisture, acid, alkali, frost).

Non-ferrous metal filament is used in the production of mesh, through which particles are then separated, gases and liquids are filtered, and protective screens of appliances are produced.

ALUMINIUM WIRE

To make a thin aluminium rod, a rolled billet is used. During hot rolling, the metal oxidises, but only slightly. This peculiarity of the colour metal does not impede the drawing process. Threads are made from soft, semi-solid, hard metal. If a thread is needed for non-insulated power lines, hard metal of higher strength is used. The finished product can be bent up to 8 times without breaking. Aluminium strand is needed for construction work, lightning protection, cable and conductor manufacture.

NICKEL WIRE

Made from rolled billets. It is necessary to make preparations prior to drawing because of the thick oxide film. The use of combined alkaline-acid and acid-salt etching techniques can be used to eliminate the hindrance to drawing. The surface is coated with a lime-salt solution. The workpiece is drawn by creating liquid friction conditions.

Nickel wire is a thin metal rod that has high mechanical strength, solderability and weldability. For this reason, the product is used in the manufacture of medical and optical equipment, chlorine and electrical equipment. It also helps to braze glass.

BRONZE WIRE

Thin bars are produced by cold-forming. The cross-section is either round or square. The accuracy of beryllium bronze rods can be normal, high or high. The minimum bar diameter is 0.6mm.

Properties:

- resistance to rust;

- resilience;

- excellent appearance;

- temperature resistance;

- high electrical conductivity.

The finished product is also characterized by its low melting point and low shrinkage coefficient. Bronze wire is used for precision casting, construction and engineering industries. It comes in welding wire, spring wire and general purpose rod.

NICHROME WIRE

BCmesh produces the product under pressure, following a cold drawing process. Subsequent grinding, turning or other treatments are not necessary.

Nichrome wire is a billet from which circular heaters for electric furnaces are manufactured. The product is also found in simple domestic heater and welding machine construction. The finished product is able to withstand high temperatures, chemicals and other aggressive factors.

It is also possible to manufacture the wire from any other non-ferrous metal or its alloys as required by the customer.
