MESH WEAVING STYLES
There are various styles of weaving that can be used to create wire cloth, such as
- twill;
- plain woven;
- plain Holland;
- double Holland twill;
- multi-stranded;
- Holland twill;
- reverse Holland;
- pre-crimped;
- by number of meshes 90 x 90.
The most common type of wire weave is the simple woven style. In this type of weave each weft wire runs alternately above and below each warp wire and vice versa. The diameters of the warp and weft wires are usually the same.
WIRE CLOTH MATERIALS
Wire cloth can be made from a variety of materials, such as
- stainless steel;
- nickel-based alloys;
- aluminum;
- brass;
- copper;
- bronze;
- titanium;
- molybdenum;
- tantalum;
- tungsten.
There can also be wire cloth specially made from non-standard materials and custom-made. Due to the variety of materials used for fabric manufacture, there are many types of wire cloth such as: aluminium wire cloth, brass wire cloth, brass wire cloth, copper wire cloth, filter cloth - micron filter screen, fine mesh wire cloth, galvanized wire cloth, industrial hardware cloth, insect screens, stainless steel wire cloth, protection and retention screens, space cloth and stainless steel fabric on bolts.
The type of fabric material and its weave will depend on what the wire cloth will be used for. When selecting, it must be ensured that the fabric is strong enough for the task at hand.
